2026 has a unique, new sound for Discoholics Anonymous Recordings! Tunesmith debuts on the label with this Electronica treat that’ll take you to new horizons sonically.

Behind Tunesmith is Vienna based Klaus Wienerroither, a multi-instrumentalist who moved restlessly across scenes and styles, never staying put for long. From the sharp-edged energy of Go Blow—backed by some of Austria’s most accomplished jazz players—to the genre-blurring duo BoABoA with Agnes Heginger, his path traced a line through sound rather than categories. There was soul too, delivered in Viennese dialect alongside the legendary Hansi Lang, and earlier still, the raw pulse of rock ’n’ roll with Tunesmith, where he stepped forward as lead voice before the project evolved into a solo identity.

His recorded legacy stretches beyond borders: collaborations with American hip-hop artists (Tunesmith & Villa Life, 2016), followed by a decisive turn toward electronic production—disco, house, and club-ready rhythms released across a growing network of labels. Not a career in neat chapters, but a continuous transmission from one musical frequency to the next.. Genre wise Tunesmith won’t be pigeonholed. He’ll go everywhere once and assimilate it into his musical universe and wrap it around your ears with a great sense of detail and with lush soundscapes unravelling.

Substance is a mid-tempo deal that lingers somewhere between 80ies new wave, synth wave and leftfield. It’s dark, moody and mysterious and sucks you into a lavish and noir state of wonder.

On vocals we find Ursula Reicher. With a sultry and mystical aura she lends her personal flavour to Tunesmith sombre universe, where it fits magically, lifting the track and its remix into another dimension.

Out now exclusively on Juno Download. World wide 02.02.26.

Discoholics Anonymous doesn’t ask for cookies. It slips them into your pocket while you’re not looking, the way clubs used to slip flyers into your coat lining at 4:37 in the morning. Some of them are harmless — the house keys. They keep the lights on, remember who you are, stop the whole thing collapsing when you hit refresh. Without them the site is just a room with no door. The others are curious little spies. They want to know which mixes you stayed for, which ones you ghosted, whether you
