Sheffield based Raw-Artes (Rory Lovatt) is no stranger if you’ve followed the disco edits scenes over the past decade or so.
On Monday he released his Heel To Toe EP on Fingerman’s fantabulous Hot Digits label (where he’s seen previous releases as well).
Stand out of the 5 fantastic tunes is without a doubt the power-laden Upsetting, which kicks like an angry midget mule on coke!
With a sly latin demeanor and improv keys magic, Raw-Artes takes full charge and harnesses its sublime power with a rare and manic force.
I can’t recommend this, and the whole EP enough.
