Parisian editor par excellence, DoctorSoul, is at it again with this seminal re-therapy of Toto‘s evergreen George Porgy.
With a low key intro the good doctor gently slides George into gear and lays out what to me, so far, is the most definitive version of the track I’ve ever heard (and I’ve heard a ton of versions of this one.)
With his usual sense for detail, DoctorSoul (Jean Lafey) paints the Puddin’ Pie Re-Therapy with both broad strokes and ultra-detailed scribblings throughout this gorgeous extension and reworking it to perfection.
