Straight out of Bielefeld, Germany comes We Funk You Records, born out of a strong, local Disco/Funk scene under the helm of DJ/promoter and now label owner Güney Capo.
Capo himself is also the man behind the tongue-in-cheek name DJ Fun Key, and is an obvious choice for a debutant on a debutting label.
Facts Of Life is a soulful, pounding, solid piece of Disco/Funk edit with a strapping 116 BPM mid-tempo goodness.
There’s already a follow-up inbound in a couple of weeks, and a third release planned on We Funk You Records at the beginning of November.
Another promising label to keep and eye out for this year, and we’re told that there’s plenty more DJ Fun Key tracks in the pipe already.
