Modesti is back with a cheeky little three-tracker that steps slightly off the usual path. He’s picked three earlier Discoholics Anonymous Recordings releases and given them a set of warm, sweaty dub makeovers.
He kicks things off with his own debut on the label, I Forgot U, which is turned into a deep, steamy version that just feels right — the sort of mix that works whether you’re on a dancefloor or drifting at home.
Next up is Ben Jamin’s Sometimes, nudged neatly into house territory and sprinkled with a bit of stardust for good measure.
And then comes the surprise closer: Drop Out Orchestra’s Tunga Stenar, lightly dubbed and sweetened with some new jazzy horns. A playful, respectful remix EP that shows Modesti having a lot of fun with the catalogue.
