I’m a tough git when it comes to reinterpreting The Cure songs. Their feel and texture is so unique and stylish that it’s hard to fiddle with. There are a few rare cases where I really like the result. This is one of them.

FINAL DJS (who you can hear on DA6 too, btw) strips Lovesong to its essence and nicely structures a new sonic rope for it. Lush synth pads, a completely new bassline, percussion and a sonic aura not too far off the established universe of the original, yet lightyears away.
