Daisuke Miyamoto has been on everybody’s lips since 2025 where he burst onto the disco scene. Currently he’s focussing on his joy for the genre more than chasing success. He does that through his Dubby Disco Boyz moniker. He put it this way:
My disco reconstructions have never been about claiming someone else’s legacy as my own. They’re built on the incredible work of the artists who came before us. I’m simply reinterpreting those timeless records through my own perspective and, hopefully, adding a little something new. With that in mind, it feels more natural to me for these tracks to live in DJs’ hands and on dance floors than to exist only as products. That’s why I’ve decided to bring back Dubby Disco Boyz, my reconstruction project, and use it as the home for this experiment. The first track is now available as a free download on SoundCloud. If you enjoy it, I’d love for you to download it, play it in your DJ sets, and make it part of your own story. I’m looking forward to hearing my music take on a new life through your mixes.
