Slightly Transformed has been at the pinnacle of the re-edit scene for a decade already, they have cemented their apex position with innovation, quality and attention to detail.

Here they team up with a very familiar face around these parts, Ben Jamin (Benjamin Winstanley), known for his incredible slo-disco re-edits.

There’s heat in this record, and also hunger. Longing dressed in velvet and brass. Ben Jamin’s Baby I’m In Love EP brings the heartbeat of disco back with all its sweat, seduction, and soft-focus melancholy.

The title track, Baby I’m In Love, is slow-burn soul wrapped in a re-disco shimmer. It sways and smolders—sultry vocals tracing out a kind of yearning that feels lived-in, maybe even a little haunted. It’s not just about being in love. It’s about needing to believe in it.

Destiny turns up the pulse. There’s more swagger here—brass flourishes, lush orchestration, a funkier undercurrent—but that same sense of ache lingers beneath the surface. The groove moves, but the emotion clings. It’s a love song dressed as a dance floor confession.

Then there’s I’m Dancing—the slowest of the three, but maybe the most revealing, lets the vibe roll out with warmth and ease. This is Ben Jamin in his element: deep-pocket rhythm, finger-snap percussion, and a kind of unspoken invitation to lose yourself—just for a little while.

Discoholics Anonymous doesn’t ask for cookies. It slips them into your pocket while you’re not looking, the way clubs used to slip flyers into your coat lining at 4:37 in the morning. Some of them are harmless — the house keys. They keep the lights on, remember who you are, stop the whole thing collapsing when you hit refresh. Without them the site is just a room with no door. The others are curious little spies. They want to know which mixes you stayed for, which ones you ghosted, whether you
