Brooklyn-based band 79.5‘s is up with their first single from their forthcoming eponymous LP on Razor N Tape.

NYC based Eli Escobar dons this masterful remix that’s drenched in nostalgic synth work, reminiscent of Johan Aggebjörn (Sally Shapiro) in places (which is a super cool thing in my book).

Kate Mattison‘s vocals are dreamy and full of distant, hazy stardust.

This is hip enough for the younger segment and nostalgic enough for the more mature segment. How perfect is that?
